Hot Industries

I am often asked by candidates what industries I think will be "hot" (growing
and hiring) so they can take classes in those technologies and increase their marketability. 

Here is what I think is hot now or will be in the near future:

o. Biomedical and medical
o. Object oriented programming languages (C++, Java, C#)
o. Networking (has been down, is coming back)
o. Database schema and administration
o. Aerospace (on a comeback)
o. Data security
o. Storage Area Networks (SAN)
o. .NET and web-based software applications
